Happy New Year

I know it's a little early to wish you all a Happy New Year, but this news couldn't wait. I can confirm that Zodiac War finally arrived at the distribution warehouse in Orlando, FL and backers will be receiving games within the next two weeks (I expect). In fact, many of you will have already received an email from Quartermaster Logistics asking you to confirm your mailing address. You don't have to respond if your address is correct, but please make sure you correct your address if you have moved or want to send the game elsewhere.

I know some of you get overwhelmed by all the emails, so I will quickly wish you all a very Happy New Year and fingers crossed this whole enterprise will be completed before the end of January.

Every cloud has a silver lining

Regretfully, I heard today that the logistics of moving products in the USA continues to be log jammed. Although I was told the games would arrive in Orlando by 17 December it now appears that they still have not left New York due to truck driver shortages. The new ETA is 21 December in Jacksonville, FL meaning they won't reach Orlando until after Christmas. However you look at it, a pre-Christmas delivery to USA and Canada backers is no longer possible, and I sincerely apologize for that.

On the bright side, this means one of the most miserable months of the year (January) will be brightened by the arrival of Zodiac War. And that's the silver lining. Yay! Let's hear a cheer from all of you optimistic sun signs!

Devotees and images

This week I sent all personalized player boards to Zodiac War Devotees in USA and Canada, so look out for those. I will personally hand the boards to Devotees who have chosen to pick up the games. The Rest of the World should have received yours. I have also fulfilled the delivery of digital images of the artwork this week to backers who ordered those as add-ons.

For backers who have received your game

We have a healthy community on Facebook, and I would like to hear from you and your experiences playing the game. It would be great to see photos of you playing, celebrate your amazing victories, commiserate your woeful defeats, and even ask questions about the rules. Also, with permission, I would like to quote positive feedback to help sell the remaining copies of the game.

Happy Holidays - Good News

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas

As we enter the holiday season I have some good news. Yesterday I was finally notified that Zodiac War's vacation on the port facilities of New York is finally over and the games are on the road again. I am told they should arrive in Orlando (from where Quartermaster Logistics will send them to backers) by about 17 December. Although that is good news generally, I sort of suspect that a pre-Christmas delivery in USA and Canada is looking unlikely, but you never know.

Status of Deliveries

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has posted on Facebook and Kickstarter confirming receipt of Zodiac War and especially those who have found time to play and have given positive feedback. This has been a long journey (over four years) and seeing my game finally arrive in your hands is a thrill beyond measure. We are very close now to completing this whole campaign, and the latest information is below.

Australia and New Zealand.  Zodiac War arrived in Australia at end of November and the games have already been sent out to backers by the Australian fulfillment company Aetherworks. I have not heard directly from anyone "Down-under" confirming receipt of their games yet, but this should be imminent.

Japan, Singapore and South Korea. Games have been delivered to backers, or delivery is imminent.

Thailand, Philippines, China, Hong Kong and Macao, Games have been delivered to backers. Yay!

United Kingdom and Europe. I understand all UK and EU have received their games now. There may be some stragglers with non-EU countries.

United States and Canada. The games arrived in New York on November 10, 2021 and were released from US customs over this weekend (4/5 December). Delivery to QML's warehouse is expected by 17 December. QML is prepared to receive the games and will contact you by email to confirm your mailing address. As soon as I receive definitive dates I will let you know.

Thank you again for your patience. I expect to post another update before Christmas, but in the meantime enjoy yourselves over the holiday period, and let me know what you think of the game.

Early Happy Thanksgiving - The Update

Hello Everyone

I have been waiting to give you some factual news about when you will receive your games, and things are moving ahead but it isn't all good news. This is a short note to update you all on where in the world the games are presently.

Status of Deliveries

Australia and New Zealand.  Arrival at the distributor's warehouse in Australia is expected at or around November 28, 2021. Shipping to backers in Australia and NZ is expected early December.

Japan, Singapore and South Korea are also expected to arrive at distribution hubs by end November.

Thailand, Philippines, China, Hong Kong and Macao have been delivered to backers. Yay!

United Kingdom and Europe. The games arrived in Spiral Galaxy's warehouse today (November 19, 2021) and many of you will have already been contacted to confirm your address if it has changed. So I expect you should be receiving Zodiac War very soon.

United States and Canada. The games arrived in New York on November 10, 2021 and remain at the port. I understand the palettes have not even been delivered to the customs warehouse yet. The reason given is congestion of ports and driver shortages. Not quite as bad as the West Coast, but labor shortages are causing delays nonetheless. Delivery to my USA and Canadian backers is therefore delayed, and I apologize for that. Once the games clear customs in NY they will be trucked to Orlando. Canada bound games will be sent air freight from Orlando. It's still a month until Christmas, so fingers crossed...

Brief Update - Verify Addresses

Please Verify Your Address

All games are now in transit to distribution warehouses, as previously advised. Delivery to warehouses is expected at the beginning of November in good time for a Christmas delivery.

If you have changed your address please let me know by emailing [email protected] immediately. Fulfillment companies will contact you again just before shipment begins to be certain you have given the correct address.
