Thank you everyone for backing Zodiac War. We are approaching 500 backers and we have unlocked the first stretch goal. The second stretch goal is within reach today so I have updated the campaign with the third stretch goal, which introduces a 5th player. The new stretch goal is below.

Please look out for more updates soon, and thank you once again for making this pet project a reality.

Update #2 - Zodiac War Has Funded!
about 3 years ago – Fri, Jan 29, 2021 at 12:03:17 PM

We did it! Thank you!

At about 12:30pm EST today Zodiac War funded! That means my four year mission to create Zodiac War will now become a reality, so thank you so much! In less than four days you all made it happen.

Stretch Goals Begin

The campaign still has a few weeks to go, so I will start announcing stretch goals. The first is easy to hit at only $20,000. See the image below. For those not familiar with stretch goals, these are rewards every backer will receive as a thank you every time we reach a funding goal.

Please keep spreading the word to see how successful this project can be. Many, many thanks.

Update #1 - Zodiac War is Loved by Kickstarter!
over 3 years ago – Wed, Jan 27, 2021 at 03:41:23 AM

Thank you for the fast start

Good morning fellow lovers of Zodiac War.  I must admit, Day 1 has been a mind-blowing experience, so thank you so much for your amazing support! I am delighted with the sheer number of backers and the excitement that you have all shown for Zodiac War.  Bringing Zodiac War to life has been my dream for the past 4 years. Now, and as backer you will share this journey with me for the next 24 days. As I write this update, we have reached over 50% of the funding goal with nearly 200 backers, which is amazing.

Early Riser Reward

You may have noticed on the campaign page that I am offering an 'Early Riser Reward'. If we can reach the funding target of $18,000 within 48 hours of launch (that is by 8.00am EST on January 28, 2021) I will be adding a cool set of souvenir cards to the game. See the announcement below. If there is anything you can do to spread the word about Zodiac War and help complete the target goal within the next 24 hours then that reward will be yours. Howzat? Please help me do this.

"Project We Love"

On launch day I received the exciting news from Kickstarter that Zodiac War was selected for 'Project We Love' which is truly a big deal. For those of you not familiar with this accolade, Kickstarter introduced this a few years ago with the announcement, "Projects We Love get a nice little badge, so that everyone can tell when we’re extra excited about a project. Projects We Love are featured by a team that works to surface extra-bright projects. They're not paid endorsements, and like any other project, they retain complete creative independence. Most simply, a Project We Love badge is a show of respect and enthusiasm from us at Kickstarter." So please let your friends know that even the Kickstarter staff thinks that Zodiac War is a great idea. And to prove it, here's the badge they sent to me...

Exclusive Interview

I was invited by Sean D. Evans of OMGNexus to join his Kicking Tables video channel on YouTube to be interviewed about Zodiac War. I will be adding it to the main campaign page, but here is an early peak for backers. Sean and Tycko ask me about Zodiac War in detail, including the genesis of the idea, how the game is played and what my plans are for stretch goals, amongst other things.

Thanks Again

I'll keep you up to date with how the campaign progresses. I really hope you can earn the Early Riser Reward so I can start to introduce you to the stretch goals I have planned. Thank you all for your support.
